Nigel Hambly teams up with The Asset Factor

(March 2006) The Asset Factor, the 50/50 joint venture between Helical Bar and Oliver Jones, Matthew Punshon and Keith Perry, has further strengthened its offer to corporate business by the appointment of Nigel Hambly as Shareholder and Director of The Asset Factor Business Services.

Nigel is one of the pioneers and leaders within the facilities management industry having been one of the founders of Haden Facilities Management and the International Operations Director of Drake & Skull (now EMCOR). More recently he established Shell Industrial Services where, as Chief Executive, he developed a unique integrated outsourcing model to provide industrial services to many of Shell’s global clients. Operating in 17 major countries this involved designing and delivering industrial facilities solutions, energy and hydro-carbon management as well as the life cycle management of industrial assets and environmental controls.

Nigel is the fourth senior appointment by The Asset Factor; he brings with him pioneering solutions that form one component of The Asset Factor’s drive to assist organisations to reduce operating costs, improve net margins and release latent value by improving the efficiency of the portfolio – all coupled with a focus on customer service.

Business Services will form part of The Asset Factor Group. His appointment will enable an expert focus to be applied to The Asset Factor’s developing supply chain partnerships model through which premium quality services are being delivered to corporate customers.

Oliver Jones was formerly the Sales and Marketing Director of Carillion; Matthew Punshon was the former Commercial Solutions Director of Land Securities Trillium and the creator of Land Securities’ flexible leasing offer, Landflex; and Keith Perry was the Chief Executive of Lend Lease Development.

The Asset Factor was established because Oliver and Matthew had identified a growing need amongst organisations throughout the UK for flexible and innovative service-driven and risk underwritten business solutions to their accommodation requirements and real estate liabilities.
