Kevin Bush

Kevin is a Director of Asset Factor Infrastructure Services having joined the team from his own strategic consulting business, which specialised in working with industrial and infrastructure companies.

Kevin began his industrial career as a research chemist, before broadening into R&D management and then into more commercial domains. He has spent 30 years in the industrial domain with over 10 years working internationally in the US, Mexico and Singapore in a variety of commercial positions.

Kevin operated as a Global Director with Shell holding full P&L responsibility in multi-site, multi-national and multi-cultural environments. He has developed considerable specialist expertise in business transformations and start-ups. Common to all of these has been a focus on driving business growth, based on improved marketing and sales, and implementation of strategies involving transformation of attitudes and behaviour. His hands-on experience has been supplemented with advanced management programmes, most recently the Group Business Leadership Program at Wharton Business School.

Within Shell, he directed a global Asset Effectiveness business across 13 countries on 4 continents, with a 3-fold growth in business over 2 years along with enhanced management of HSSE, business acquisition, risk.

Over the years he has also initiated a significant number of sales and marketing strategies and campaigns to drive business growth. Examples range from developing a specialist grease product range (50% growth in margin), to addressing customer segmentation based on customer behaviour (Europe) to creating a totally new external Customer Value Proposition in Industrial Services.
He has also led and defined many business transformations, focusing on business growth (Mexico), design and process (pan-European), start-ups (Asia, Mexico, and the USA) and re-positioning (Business Services, Energy Consulting).

After leaving Shell International in 2005 Kevin set-up and ran his own consultancy business. Of significance has been his work in the airport sector, working both with regional airports and with service companies supplying UK airports.

Kevin now brings these diverse skills and experiences to bear in taking the core Asset Factor proposition into the industrial and infrastructure sectors.
